I’m Sean Newlun. I was born in Butte, Montana. My dad was in the Air Force, so I did a lot of travelling when I was younger. I got to live in Japan for about 3 years, and then in the states of Texas and Maryland. I moved to Washington when I was about 14 and have spent the rest of my years here, except for a short stint in the Navy, so I consider Washington Home.
I attended The University of Washington, Milgard Business School, and earned my BA in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting. I picked accounting, because I enjoy the logic of numbers. I also like the challenge of bookkeeping and taxes.
I have been married for almost 25 years to my wife Cara. We have 4 children, with the oldest graduating from college soon. Our family has always had a love for the outdoors. We have hiked all over western Washington together, including several short hikes on the Pacific Crest Trail. We love finding new and interesting places to camp. In my spare time I like to help support the Boy Scouts of America and stay involved in my Church.
